Brent brings to an evening of dancing, a variety of specific theme
events.

Caller couple of the Mainstream-level with 46
years of experience teaching the new dancers the Basics of square dancing
and teaching the Mainstream dancers the movements toward Plus-level.
Chuck brings to an evening of dancing, encouragement and
professionalism to his class of dancers.
Heather Wallace
Cuer of choreograph ballroom
dancing (better known as round dancing) has been recruited by the Swinging
Singles for teaching the basics of the choreography and prompting the
dancers through each specific selection of dances with her
professionalism. Heather has many years of experience since the days
as a youngster in the teen clubs and a number of years at the Pacific
Northwest Teen Festival, including being awarded as the top caller at the
1999 Festival.
Armand Genest
Armand was instrumental in establishing a square dance club for unattached individuals in the Greater Vancouver area after relocating from Calgary where he had been a member of the Swinging Singles of Calgary. He and Frank Navritil got together with a few other friends to organise a steering committee in the Autumn of 1968. After many committee meetings, the organisers were finally able to rent the gymnasium of Nootka School for January 22, 1969. That very day resulted in a very stormy and snowy day. The leaders had misgivings about going forward with opening night. Much to their surprise, 100 brave souls arrived on the door step of the school gymnasium.
